    Water analog simulation is widely used for optimization of gating system, solving problems of defects and porosity in castings, identification of numerical models for calculation of the process of mold filling, and for industrial optimization of the process of mold filling and comparing of different models.

    The process of die casting under high pressure is characterized by high rate of filling steel mold with molten metal, which solidifies quickly ( from millisecond to several seconds within components of the mold) Die casting process scheme
